I just want to make this quick as I don’t have a lot to say with these kinds of posts, but as you all probably know, Donald Sutherland died yesterday, of, at this time, unspecified causes.
He was certainly a legend in Canadian movies, and, most notably, for Don’t Look Now (1973) and the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Apparently a new Hunger Games film is going to come out in 2026, so I’m wondering how they’re gonna pull that off. Hopefully they won’t CGI him or recast him. I’d rather him be recast than CGI’d though. I probably won’t post anything else today, but I just wanted to put out a small tribute. For now though, that’s it for me. Later!
